Club 100 Letter

Dear Tai Chi Family and Friends,

The theme of our Club 100 fundraiser this year is Gratitude for Friends in Challenging Times.

As you all know, this has been a very tough year for businesses, big and small and it is no different for us.  However, we at the Tai Chi Center are very happy to say that we are still hanging in there, continuing to pursue our mission of bringing high-quality, affordable instruction in Tai Chi to Milwaukee and surrounding areas.

It has taken a lot of effort, creativity and learning new ways of working. We are following all health rules and guidelines for holding in-person classes safely at the Tai Chi Center. We also have added Zoom capability for participating in form and corrections classes.  Through all this, we have been sustained by the overwhelming support of our tai chi family. It seems like Club 100 unofficially started in April this year!

Although our reserve funds have dropped significantly this year, so far they are still holding out.We have high hopes that the Center will be able to continue through the pandemic and beyond!Much of that hope is based on YOU – our Tai Chi Family and Friends, and the care and support you have shown in the past, and especially this past year.

Your contributions to this year’s (official) Club 100 appeal are especially crucial for the financial stability of the Tai Chi Center.  We hope that you will join us in contributing $100 (or $10, $20, $200, $500 – whatever you can afford to send). Our goal is to raise $8000 (or more) this year. We will keep a running update at the school, on our website at www.taichicenter.org, and on Facebook so you can see how we are coming along.

Contributions may be brought to the school; mailed to our business office at Tai Chi Chuan Center of Milwaukee, 2378 N. 60th St., Milwaukee, WI  53210, or NEW this year, you can donate by PayPal if you have a PayPal account. If using PayPal, send us an email to, taichicentermilw@gmail.com stating the amount you wish to donate, and we will send you a “PayPal request for payment” with the note “Payment is a Donation”.

Remember, the Tai Chi Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, educational organization, so your gift is tax deductible as allowed by law. If your place of business has a matching grant program, you can increase your donation by requesting us as your choice for the match. We will be happy to supply the necessary documentation.

There are so many benefits of Tai Chi practice. Please help keep the Chi flowing as we proceed in our 45th year of operation!

In Gratitude to Our Friends in Challenging Times,

 Michael Milewski,

Director, Tai Chi Chuan Center of Milwaukee
